John Terry delivers latest Chelsea injury update ahead of PSG clash

John Terry has taken to social media to play down
the seriousness of the hamstring injury he picked
up during Chelsea’s 5-1 win over Newcastle
United on Saturday.
The veteran centre-half was substituted before half-time
at Stamford Bridge after picking up the muscular injury,
which leaves him as a doubt heading into Tuesday’s
Champions League showdown with Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the former England captain used his personal
Instagram account to reveal that he is due to have a scan
on his leg on Sunday and is hopeful that the injury is not
too serious.
Terry posted the picture above on the photo-sharing app
on Sunday morning and wrote: “Great win and
performance yesterday. Well done @_pedro17_
@diego.costa @willianborges88
@bertrandtraore10
“Having a scan today and hoping my hamstring isn’t too
bad @chelseafc”

The result left Chelsea in 12th place in the Premier League
table and 14 points behind fourth-placed Manchester City
heading into the final 12 games of the season.
