From Waterside Boy to the Nigerian music stage, Mr. 2kay keeps rising

A move to Waterside area in Port Harcourt led to Mr.
2Kay harnessing his talent and pursuing his music
dream, following his humble beginning as street
hawker. Picked up by Grafton entertainment in 2010, his
album Waterside Boy was released in 2012 with hit,
Bubugaga, making waves even on the UK playlists like
Kissfm, Capital Xtra with Daily Mirror giving him four
stars for the hit.
The album led him to a nomination as the Next Rated
artiste at the Niger Delta Advancement awards. His
single Bad Girl Special remix ft. Cynthia Morgan and
Seyi Shey won him an award for best collaboration at
the Nigerian Entertainment Awards 2015. In February
2016, he released his new song, Count It All Joy, from
the EP os the same.
