Juan
Mata
wants
to
stay
at
Manchester
United
and
sign
a
new
contract,
according
to
reports.
Mata’s
future
has
been
up
in
the
air
in
recent
weeks
with claims that he’s certain to leave if Jose Mourinho is
appointed as manager.
And while he wants to see what happens with Louis van
Gaal’s future this summer, the Daily Star says Mata wants
to stay put.
According to the newspaper, he’s keen to sign an extension
to his £130,000-a-week contract which currently expires in
two years time.
Mata has no shortage of potential suitors including former
club Valencia who are managed by United legend Gary
Neville.
