Zlatan Ibrahimovic has privately identified Arsenal as a club
he would consider sealing a transfer to, reports say.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward, 34, is out of contract in
the summer and is weighing up his options.
While he would prefer to stay in Paris, as his family is
settled there, he is open to a move to the Premier League.
And Arsenal are the club he is most keen on
joining, according to The Telegraph.
Ibrahimovic’s potential move could spark a transfer frenzy
among Europe’s top clubs.
PSG want to sign a high-profile replacement should he leave
and have made Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo their top
target.
Should Ronaldo leave, Real are likely to seek out a move for
Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
Hazard is very much open to a move to the Spanish capital
but Real are unlikely to sign him unless one of Ronaldo or
Gareth Bale leaves.
Should PSG be unable to land Ronaldo they will consider
signing Hazard, Bale or even Neymar.
If one of those players arrives in Paris, Ibrahimovic will be
shown the exit door and Arsenal could well be the club to
profit most.
