Obaje predicts tough tie at Enyimba

Wikki Tourists forward, Godwin Obaje has predicted a difficult top-flight clash at reigning Nigerian champions Enyimba.
The Bauchi outfit are guests of the People’s Elephant in Wednesday’s Nigerian top-flight rescheduled matchday 31 clash at adopted ground, the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt.
Obaje said the reverse fixture clash is quite crucial to the side's avowed dream to reclaim the top-flight summit.
“Yes, the reverse fixture clash is crucial and going to be really difficult for both sides.
“We need an outright victory to reclaim the top-flight summit once again while the hosts, Enyimba, will want to chance closing the gap at the top with a win, too in the match-up.
“Victory in the match will return us to the top on superior goals against the leaders, Enugu Rangers.
“We have prepared adequately as well as steeled ourselves for the banter Enyimba will throw at us.
“We have resolved to avoid defeat in the clash. At worst we should be able to claim a point to keep us within touching distance to grab the top spot in the next match.
“I’m not thinking of personal glory in the match, more so as we have more options to get us goals.
“What we cared for is victory. It does not really matter to any individual who gets the goal or goals.
“We are damn ready to battle as well as challenge Enyimba for the whole three points at stake,” said the Super Eagles marksman to supersport.com.
Wikki Tourists are third in the top-flight league table on 51 points, three adrift league leaders Enugu Rangers in Nigeria premier league.
